this must be retribution for having enjoyed myself so much im spain. I am dying from so much work to do... well its still less than the average in SMU... still... i am technically on holiday in another country!! why so much work to do!!
cannot escape from projects so bogged down by it here.. tho presentation is so much easier cos its so casual n relaxed haha..
anws, why am i talking about work here? i wanna upload photos! of my trip to spain! oh man it has gotta be the ultimate coolest trip ever! barcelona is DA BOMB! it beats Paris hands down man - no offence to the patriotic french... or the Paris Hilton lovers...
i spent 4 glorious days in Barcelona and Madrid... 2 nights of which were spent in their airports.. which was quite a cultural experience in itself haha.. j'adore Singapore airports even more now..
Sleeping at Girona airport waiting for morning to come so we could take the bus to B-A-R-C-E-L-O-N-A!! The seats look deceivingly comfortable i tell u we had such a backache when we woke up... not to mention grouchy n tired... haha..
Finally the bus! but boy was it cold in there... n i tot spain wouldn't be THAT cold hence i didn't bring my trusty pinkie... i shivered from the cold most of the time i was there haha..
Dunkin Donuts!! we bought a grand total of 12 each of us paid 2 euros! i think its worth it haha.. tho i aint much of a donut person i totally dig the high sugar content and happy 'after feelings'..
Centric point hostel! we stayed in a 12 bed dorm.. thinking it probably wont have other people we took pillows from other beds but guess wad... it was full by the time we woke up the next morn i felt so bad for the people who didn't have their pillow yikesss...
The hostel provides free breakfast! yay for cheapos like us! it wasn't anything fancy but it was pretty good they have quite a variety of cereal and breads, coffee tea, apple juice and fruits! sedap! Ivy our chief navigator preparing for our day of sightseeing... without her we'd probably kill our pockets shopping!! thank you ivy for saving my moolahs...
It was a sunday n there was alot going on... outside a random church we found a band.. of old people.. playing very good music.. there was this man who turned very red whenever he played his instrument... a clarinet perhaps? it was soo hilarious watching him... there was another sitting in the left corner, playing his little flute with one hand and keeping beat on a little drum tied to his wrist with the other... men cant multitask for nuts.. hence he was always off-beat hahahaa... its so funny watching them n it reminds me why i swore off percussions too...
This band was making music for groups of elderly folk to do their communal dancing.. it was a sight to behold.. rings and rings of people formed amongst the crowd to clasp hands and dance a simple yet interesting dance... watching them jus made our day... hell mite as well join in!
We went to this place called montjuic... with the intention of seeing a castle.. but it was too bloody big we lost our way and instead landed near this telefonica tower we suspect is used to communicate with the aliens out there...

Photo-whoring in play... yups that's all i can put up.. will put up more later when blogger stops acting up.. we wanted to visit sagrada familia but it was closed by the time we got there so next time! yes i will go to barcelona again in future if i got the time its too beautiful liao...
