Avignon

now to continue on with the photos! man we have so many photos i think i'll take a week jus uploading everything! but its fun so i dont mind.:)

so after malaga spain where did we go?

we proceeded back to France cos we love the land and the people so very much!

Avignon - Provence region where they filmed A Good Year. oh man that show was awesome i loved it so much i had to go visit the Provence region in order to relive the show! and what better way than to take an airplane ride to see the entire place from an aerial view!

This has to come on top even tho it was the last thing we did in Avignon! cos it was our favourite meal of the entire trip! We stumbled upon a Creperie place that serves awesome crepes and galettes! Yes they are even better than Le Tarte Tatin I have to admit!

Bored waiting for our food we were the earliest but super hungry cos this meal is breakfast and lunch rolled into one!

On the train to Avignon. We were happy people despite the long train ride haha..

In Avignon, we found a flea market just outside our hotel! Our hotel is a really sweet quiet place with lots of flora and fauna and insects that collect pollen. I am petrified of bees but we had them hovering around us on a daily basis whenever we went back to the hotel that i was kinda used to it. just remember not to dab perfume. haha..

Lookie the flea market! They were selling arabic stuff mostly. still it was fun to walk around and see see. got some imitation bags on sale too haha!

Cherysa grabbing shujun's arm ie signs of abuse ;) that shujun was quick to snap hahahah.. for that reason, we have formed a support group to protect each other from cherysa's abuse hahaha.. lol.. it was fun..

Our plane ride!! just before we got up the plane. i think the pilot looks like robin williams. haha.. but he's french.. n a rather arrogant one at that.. :)

A shot of the Avignon Bridge. This bridge has a very nice story behind it which i remember bits and pieces of. Shan't try to convey the broken bits of story here lest i get it wrong. instead if u wanna hear it, ask me when u meet up with me! haha.. the story is kinda mythical :)
After the plane ride we were 3 happy but poorer people. The hour long ride cost us 87 euros each.

Our visit to Popes Palais ie Palace of the Popes. This was the view from the top. We bloody climbed all the way up to take these photos so appreciate every single photo! :)

These are roadside cafes. There are alot of such cafes in Europe. Very nice to sit and chill and people watch the day away. That's what most of the folks do there anyways :)
Behind this spiral structure lies.... a modern facility.... the Toilet.
Palace of the Popes! Its a castle in reality. Also has a long story behind it. And as usual my brain only remembers bits and pieces of it. haha.. looks quite nice from the outside but inside its all ruined. Oh and Avignon has city walls! our hotel is outside the city walls so everyday we take the bus to go into the city.

Yup yup that's most of it. I have nearly a hundred photos of the plane ride and videos but why bore u with geological photos eh.. haha.. till later i gotta go out! seeya! :)
